Mindful happiness also leads to a healthier, longer life.
The outcome of this course is for the learner to describe the multiple health benefits of practicing mindfulness happiness, explain how happiness is measured, and provide suggestions for engaging in activities that increase health and happiness.
Mindful EatingMindful eating is eating with intention and attention. It is much more than simply eating slowly, without distraction. Mindful eating encompasses the entire process of eating and is a healthy and pleasurable activity for satisfying hunger. When we eat and our mind is paying attention to every bite, savoring the taste, and the nourishment the food provides, we are eating mindfully.
The outcome of this course is for the learner to describe the concept of mindful eating and its importance in health.
